I have been having a lot of problems lately with battlefield 4 running. I keep getting these huge drops in FPS during multiplayer gameplay. I will normally have anywhere from 90-120fps with all settings on ultra but suddenly it will drop to 20-30 fps or lower for just a second or so. This will keep happening over and over throughout a match making it unplayable. I didn't start getting these problems till recently. The only changes I made were putting windows 8.1 on but I wanna say these problems are more recent than that. I have tried messing with the settings but that doesn't seem to be any help at all. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks!

Ran with one GPU and same problem. I tried disabling all direct x 11 related stuff with same issues. I tried with settings on low and same thing. I even stood still without moving mouse staring at wall to keep frames consistent but it would still drop from 140 down to around 30 every few seconds. I didnt notice any change in temp, gpu usage, memory usage, or gpu clock/mem clock when these drops would happen. I dont have these problems with any other game. I should add I am running my rig on a 800w power supply. I've downloaded bf4 settings editor but dont know what settings to change. Any help with this would be nice.

Hi, I am having the exact same problem as you, running on a single GTX 660 (Driver: 347.09). I have all settings on low (for maximum performance) and I get about 150-170 fps on average, but every now and then I get these annoying fps drops and this drops my fps down to 10-30 fps, which makes it completely unplayable and frustrating. All my temps are normal when this is happening (doesn't exceed 65C). I am guessing this has something to do with nvidias latest drivers... Have you managed to solve this?
