How good are these gaming PCs, and how much would it cost to build one just as good (or better!)

So this post is kind of a two part-er. I'm looking to buy a gaming PC (preferably under a thousand!) that can essentially run most, if not all, games on at least medium settings. I'm looking to run ENBs in Skyrim, and, hopefully, be at least futureproof for a year or two.

I've been looking at a few different systems. Please tell me how good they are, and how much performance I'll be getting.

Lenovo Erazer X510
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4770K Processor (3.50GHz 1600MHz 8MB)
Windows 8.1 64
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 2GB
16.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
2TB 7200 RPM + 8GB SSHD

This is my computer of choice (mainly because it's $400 off right now) but my biggest concern is with the graphics card. I was hoping for a 700 series GTX card.

Acer Predator AG3-605-UR1C
Intel Core i5-4440 Processor 3.1 GHz(6 MB cache)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX745 Graphics with 4GB of Discrete Video Memory
Windows 8.1

This is one I stumbled upon today. A more powerful card (I think?), decent RAM and a good enough CPU. It's significantly cheaper than the Erazer.

There's the two best PCs I've come across so far. Now for the interesting part that you guys should like. From what I understand, it's cheaper to build a PC from scratch and generally better in terms of performance as well. Once again, I'm on a budget here (under 1000), but hypothetically, what kind of parts would I be looking at for a system equally powerful or better for the same price (or better)?

Thanks.

Those are junk.

Lets go on 900$ budget, shall we.
That gives you a nice little sweetspot for current hardware.

Graphics is AT LEAST 4 times faster than either one of those.
