CD - DVD drive says disc is empty when is not..

Hello guys so trying to reinstall windows for my uncle and at the moment im having some weird problems never ever faced them before, basicly when i try to boot windows install disk, it doesnt boot when put the disk into my pc it boots everything is ok , and when i enter the disk to the laptop it says disk is clear and when i do it on my pc it says there is windows7 blalbal, any suggestions how to fix this annoying thing?!

Hey there, madrew!

I'd suggest to check the Device Manager and see if you notice anything unusual with the drivers for the DVD/CD-ROM.
You might need to update them. Once you click on the drivers, a new dialog box will open giving you such an option.

You should also clean the drive lens, dust them out. Sometimes dusted lens can give such an error and not read the data from your CDs/DVDs.

fixed it few days ago, yeah the problem was with laser just cleaned it up a bit and it works like a new !
