Hi...need help..My cpu is at 1.45v in bios and can't seem to figure out how to lower it.. I use k10stat when in windows (7) and set it to 1.275 and all ok..runs at 33c idle but if don;t use k10stat it goes to 1.45 and 50c idle..Any help would be great..just wanna set in bios so not have to use k10stat..Thanx in advance

Solution

50 C is absolutely normal, so you don't really need the lower voltage. If you want that so much, search in your BIOS and you'll find where the voltages are (f.e http://www.masterslair.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/dynamic-vcore-in-bios.jpg). Decrease the voltage from there after which save the changes.

Apply the Optimized Defaults in your BIOS and save the changes, that ought to fix it.

the bios still gives me 1.45 which makes it run @50c...when I lower it with k10 it drops to 30-33c and still runs games no prob..just want it set in bios to 1.275..also have it set @1v when idle @800mhz with k10
