gateway laptop internet explorer browser is loading slow

No quick and simple options for this, there's a lot of things that can cause internet issues. Some basics to try however!

Reset your cable modem, unplug it for 20 seconds, plug it back in.

Run system restore to when it was working

Disable antivirus/ 3rd party firewalls
Reset IE to defaults
Reset windows firewall to defaults

Try another browser like firefox, if you can (download to flash drive, install on your laptop)

Run a malwarebytes virus scan (again, download on another pc to flash drive)

If none of these fix it, we got lots of other things to try!
