Any Z97 is able to overclock. But it really depends on how far you want to push it. If you are a beginner then you may want to look into an Asus Z97-A, forgive its design though.

Yes that's what I was looking at first, but with my $450 budget I would have to stick a g3258 in there at first. Could you put together a $450 build with an overclockable i5, but I dont need a discrete GPU, the integrated graphics will be pleanty.
