I recently started experiencing an odd issue.
When I plug my Ethernet cord from my server into my router, my internet connection drops. The modem does not reboot, but I am no longer receiving internet. Within a few seconds of me disconnecting the server from the router, service is restored.
It's odd because there isn't any data actually being used on the server, it's just a machine that happens to be on. Almost instantly after plugging the server in, I notice really high pings and inevitably the internet goes out.
Any thoughts on what may be going on?
