Can anyone please let me know how to disable Cougar 700k backlit blinking/flashing?

Hi guys,

I just bought a Cougar 700k, and would like to use it in the office. Some personal touch for the dull office. But I just realised the backlit of the keyboard starts blinking/flashing after no typing for a short time. I admit the feature is cool-ish, maybe in the showroom. But I feel it would be annoying at home, needless to say in the office.

Can anyone please let me know how to disable this blinking/flashing function, I've disabled the backlit, but the blinking still at large...

Help before I go crazy.

Thank you for contacting us. You can do this through the UIX software. Go to the Performance panel and in "Sleep Mode" options, choose "None". If you have not yet installed the UIX software, please install first the latest driver and then the driver (UIX software). Both can be obtained from here. http://www.cougar-world.com/downloads.html

If you had not yet used UIX for your office, I recommend that you explore the possibilities the UIX software offers to maximize your office work efficiency. It is a gaming keyboard,but many people are using it for professional uses with great results.

So, yes, it can be disabled via the UIX software. Hopefully the config can be saved into on board memory.
