Hi,

I'm looking for a good CPU fan which will cool my Intel core i7 4790k @4.0ghz and will fit in my case which is a X11 Advanced X-Station gaming case.

I'm worried that it won't be able to hold a large CPU heatsink like the Coolmaster Hyper Evo 212. If anyone can recommend a good CPU which will fit in my case then that would be much appreciated. :)

If you want to recommend a case and a CPU heatsink then that would also be of help.

My case: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Advance-8102B0-Gamer-Plastic-Black/dp/B005G9D2T6

Dimensions (As stated on product page): 47.3 x 20 x 45 cm

Thanks in advance!

It looks like it can fit a Hyper 212.You can always measure and check the CPU cooler clearance.
However I'll recommend going for Noctua NH-C14 if you want something small and good. And Noctua NHl12 if you want something even more small.

I'll recommend EVGA G2 or P2 and the wattage depends upon what kind of upgrades you're looking forward to.

A 550W is enough if you just want to change your GPU
750W and higher if plan to SLI or CFX

I'm willing to spend the money on the 750w as I'm constantly upgrading, having a higher wattage doesn't matter on my components at this time will it?

Another question this PSU will fit in my case? I know it's a daft question but I don't know much about PSUs as I'm starting to Learn more about hardware.

Edit: At current I belive that my powercool PSU is causing my pic to cut out during gaming will this PSU help?

G2 750W would be perfect for that. And it will fit. But you may want to get a new case though. A top mounted PSU would suck in air from the inside and will create some disturbance in the airflow of the case.

Ok last question before I buy,

Will it affect the airflow dramatically or will it be usable for the next few months until February? (I get paid, I'm a uni student) And what case would you recommend? I will, have to be the same height as my X11 due to some living restrictions but I may be able to compromise if needed.

Get corsiar 200r or 300r and dont worry much the psu won't affect much of the airflow.
