Hi, I have Evga X58 sli3 770, 6x2GB Dominator 1600CL7, I7 920 D0 , Seasonic 720Bronze , Corsair h100 and 2x5870.
My problem is that I cant reach 4.00GHz under 1.42Vcore on the cpu.
As i read in internet DO should reach 4ghz easily.
For 3.8GHz 1.25 vcore is enought for 5hours in prime95 , but if i go over 3.8ghz then everything below 1.4v is almost immediately BSOD. I went to local computer shop http://www.pc-varna.com/ and they told my my CPU is crap ...... is that possible?
Thanks in advance

Hi Stefan
It is possible that you have a part there that is not able to overclock as much as other parts can.
It's just the quality of the silicon in your part that is not quite the same as the normal.
In short, you got a slightly bum part for overclocking purposes. Nothing wrong with 3.8GHz though.
