Everytime I try to play the new WoW Expansion I get an error message saying "application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" and I also get a message sometimes saying "display driver has stopped responding and recovered" This so far has only happened on the one game but I cant seem to figure out whats causing it. All of my drivers are up to date, my gpu temps are all normal so I was hoping I could get some help. My specs are as follows.
amd fx 8350 4.0 ghz
MSI 970 gaming board
16 gigs of corsair vengeance
MSI GTX 970 gpu
And an EVGA 600 watt psu

Well, indications are that the display driver is crashing. If it only just started happening and only for this one title, then its either the application or a driver bug. Might want to bring this up to Blizzard.

Ditto here. Only WoW crashes it. Also, up until couple weeks ago it was happening almost only exclusively when I was inside garrison mine. Now it happens randomly everywhere. I have GTX 750 Ti with latest drivers.

I am having the same problem. When playing Cs:go it occurs every 30 seconds. It will pop up, then everything is fine, then it pops up again then starts working, happens in Cities Skylines, too. Even when only chrome is open, I get an error that graphic drivers have stopped responding and has recovered, and my whole screen freezes and then it goes back to normal 2 seconds later. It happens every 5-20minutes in chrome. When I do it with a stress test, it pops up every 5 seconds. I have an old EVGA GTX 560 SE. I am upgrading to a ASUS GTX 660 DirectCU II tomorrow, Ill let you guys know if it will fix the problem. If not, then Ill just re-install windows.

Either the driver version you have installed is buggy, or you have a failed GPU.
