Are the pc parts that I want to buy compatible?

your build has some errors.

For example the intel Z series motherboards are higher end and usually for overclocking but you've got a locked processor also 4gb RAM? You will need 8 if this is a gaming build.

And yes, i agree that PSU should be changed the one you mentioned would be ok.

What parts do you need to buy and what is your budget? I'll make some suggestions.

Also will you only use newegg or shop around for best value?

I just updated my list and removed 4 gb of ram and put 8 gb of ram instead.

This is a gaming build. What does PSU stand for? What does it mean to have a locked processor?
My budget for a pc is $850 but i just want parts that will get me just enough to equal up to what my monitor can go up to. The monitor I have is 1080p 60hz. I want parts that can allow me to run big games like Watch dogs or battlefield 4 Maxed settings ultra high aas and all that at 1080p 60 fps. But i do want to be ready for that game gta 5 as well when that comes out. I want to just get parts from newegg but if you know a different site that provides quality cheap parts too, id appreciate if you would link me to that or those sites for those parts and ill make sure to check those out as soon as possible.

PSU stands for Power Supply Unit sorry.

If you want I can make you a build on PCpartpicker(This shops around for the best value price on the parts so you'll get the best PC for your money and the retailers are all still very reliable)

A locked processor means you cannot overclock it, If you do not know what overclocking is that is fine it is not a worry nor is it essential to run a good gaming PC.

I made the lists on the assumption that you needed everything and currently have 0 pc parts. If you need a CD drive to install your windows and you can pick up one of those as well(not very expensive) or ideally salvage one from your current PC.

You can find the Graphics card found in this builds full review here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-970-maxwell,3941.html

I will try to find some benchmark figures for the 6970 you were looking at earlier so you can compare.

By the way if there's not a micro center nearby I can easily change the choice of case.

Actually with windows 7 thats exactly what i was going to spend on the parts that i showed everyone here on this forum. lol exactly $854. the first build i made was all on newegg and that grand total for that list was $873.43. Thank you for doing this. You actually saved me money and I get a beast of a video card. but there is one more thing though, i just realized that the total is actually 880 but thats cool and this link of this problem or at least i think its a problem. link:

Yeah you will have to use rebates(I can do a build 850max before rebates)

That's not actually an issue by the way the picture you linked it means the case's front USB 3 ports won't work because the motherboard does not support USB 3 (Your rear ports will work fine) I'll try to find a cheapish USB 3 board in a little while if you're desperate to use them.

im fine with the rear ports, as long as they work its cool. and as for rebates. What are rebates? and yes i would like for the build to be a grand total of $850 if not then thats fine. i just cant do 900 or more. i can only do below 900 dollars.

rebates are something american/canadian only so i do not know the specific details (I'm from the UK)

But basically the final build I have made you is

Base Total: $899.83
Mail-in Rebates: -$45.00
Total: $854.83

So 899 total but then you can send off or email for rebates and get 45dollars back? I think.
