Since last week my computer is acting strangely, every time I want to boot it up I have to go into boot menu and select my HDD or it will not staet windows, even though I haven't changed anything, haven't added new hardware or anything... But that's not it, since yesterday it boots normally without having to select boot device but it restarts randomly without any warning, last night it did that 5 times in 2 hours for no reason... Like I've said I haven't added any new haedware or done any changes to the bios... It's an old computer, I bought it in 2008 so I think it might be because it's lived its life? Or is there anything that may help to fix it?

Thanks in advance,

Raul

Solution
Seems like it may be suffering interruptions in power, or the PSU is "flickering" and not supplying enough to a component.

I'd check the power supply voltages to see if they're within spec, or if possible borrow a different PSU to test it with.

If it's not the PSU, the next place I'd look for something like that is unstable RAM, followed by a motherboard issue.
