Are you also planning to purchase/play Assassin's Cree Unity? Because if you are then put off your purchase for a while because that game runs HORRIBLY in all kinds of systems including the consoles. Otherwise, that rig is great for all current games.

Your build is pretty future proof as far as that can go. Any past game will run well and most if not all of the games from now till 2016 will be able to run on it max at 60fps. The gtx 970 is one of the best cards on the market and that paired with an Intel i5 4690k is a duo that are pretty high end. Also I see you can add another card if you want so later down the road it will still be up-gradable.

that's the best in the budget you can max out any current game
even unity runs smooth (30+ fps without a patch) with this GPU
so that is the best you could do in my opinion :)

What GPU should I get MSI GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr, ASUS GTX 970 Strix, EVGA GTX 970 SSC AX 2.0 or GIGABYTE GTX 970 Windforce?
