Hello. I installed CPU-Z recently and i noticed that it says my ram is ddr3 667mhz. Will this hinder tasks that require a decent amount of ram like using battlescreen on bf4 while playing bf4? Or should i overclock it in the bios?

Thanks in advance

Very well. So what happens here is that you are utilizing two memory channels, so each channel is running at 1333MHz, which means that each module is running at half the speed it says. 667MHz for each module->1333MHz for the channel.

You can overclock them up to 1600MHz but you will not see any difference. From 1866MHz and above you can see higher performance but I don't know if you can achieve that speed because you will have to overclock and the chipset as well. I would recommend you not to overclock them but if you want that extra performance buy new ready 1866MHz ram modules.
