Unused HD for page file

Hi! this is my first time posting here. Ive used this site for a while now whenever i run into trouble and its never let me down.

well anyway my question is i have a separate Hard drive 298 GB and was wondering how or if i should use the entirety of the free space as virtual memory (or pagefile?). the main HD currently in use has about 2.00 GB (1.75 GB usable) physical ram 198 gb free space any ideas?

It will work but a waste of space.

Just let windows manage the size on that drive and select no page file on your os drive

hmmm it wouldn't really be a wastes though. im not using the hard drive for anything else. i just want to know what i should enter where it says "initial size,Maximum size" in the virtual memory window system properties. ive read that it can increase performance though not by much but i need all the extra boosts i can get. this extra HD would just be a paper weight anyway :/

Set them both to the same size. 2.5 times the amount of physical memory in the machine.

so basically initial size would be 2000 and maximum size would be 5000? or is it the other way around? thanks in advance bro

Make them both the same size. It is a little faster. So 2.5 time the amount of your memory.
