Please share your thought about these two gpu since both have similiar price in my country.

Which one is better and durable for 1080p gaming?

Thanks.

The main difference between those cards are R9 280 having more vram and R9 285 being more power efficient in games they will perform more or less the same 4-5 FPS here and there.
Both are good for 1080p gaming.

They both perform around the same, the 285 is newer but it has less VRAM, the 280 uses a core that's about 2-3 years old though the 3GB frame buffer and larger bus width should help performance in upcoming games. I would get the R9 280.

As dylzan says above - the 285 beats the 280 in some games & loses in others - either way you're talking a max difference of 5fps or so.
The 280 uses around 50w more under load & runs around 10c hotter but has an extra gig of vram which is going to make a difference in some titles with optional hi res texture packs - personally I don't think 2gb vram is going to cut it a couple of years down the line if you want hi-res textures ( not really so important at 1080p though tbh)
I'd side towards the 280 as long as they're comparable models/coolers.
What are the particular models you're looking at?

Hello guys, thanks for the answers

I think im going to buy ASUS r9 280 direct cu with 3 years warranty. My main concern about the sapphire 285 dual-x is that in some reviews the dual-x card from sapphire with the purple box isnt a good card.
Do you think i make the right choice?

I'm a huge fan of the DCUII cooler and highly recommend it. I've had both the Dual-X and DCUII coolers and both are good coolers but the ASUS R9 280 DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IXI5AT2 would definitely be my recommendation in this situation. The ASUS model will allow you to overclock better than the Sapphire and will give you better overall performance.

I don't think you would be disappointed with either choice though.
