Huge issue with the display on my monitor

The right side of my monitor is completely fine, all perfect, but the left side is pixelated and has a pinkish shade to it. Can anyone tell me what's gone wrong?

I've tried the monitor with onboard graphics, same problem. sometimes it goes away, sceen looks fine but then comes back to being pixelated and pink in a few seconds

I used to use the monitor on DVI, but this issue started to occur. I switched to HDMI and the issue went away but is now occuring on the HDMI as well

Most likely the monitor gone bad since same issue both GPU's.

First thing is test the monitor on another computer or a different one on yours. 2 months old should be in warranty!

First time this occured, it was happening to the right side of my screen and was burning pixels to the screen. now the ride side is fine and is happening to the left side. I can see a slight burn in of my taskbar on the left side where my start menu is. First time I "fixed" it was by running burn in remover videos for hours and then switching to HDMI but this is now occuring on HDMI

Even when the computer is off and the monitor is on, an energy star logo pops up and thats pinkish/pixelated...

Apart from taking it to a electronic repair shop and pay somebody the same as buying it to fix it I do believe there is no solution. I do not buy monitors online rather at store since warranty is important and I have couple of times returned.

OK, Something weird is going on. I went out and got windows 8.1 pro and after I installed it, all the issues on the left side is gone. Can someone tell me whats going on?
