I just wonder... Is this normal? I have an FX 8350 and an R9 290X Ref card from Sapphire so...
It feels a bit wrong to me. Also gpu usage is not consistent spiking from 75 percent to 99.

Also this is the graph when I limit the fps to 59.94:

This is DirectX by the way. Not mantle.
My cpu is clocked at 4.5 Ghz and it is stable (confirmed by 6 hours of prime95). No OC on the gpu side.
Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 is the mobo.
8 Gigs of ram
Corsair CX750M
Windows 8.1 64 bit
