This has been a reoccurring problem almost every morning I go to turn on my PC.

I'll wake up, turn on my computer. The BIOS logo will flash, then it'll show the Windows boot logo. After, the screen goes black. Normally, it should be black for about 5 seconds then it shows the login menu on windows.

But lately it stays black for about 5 minutes straight, and then the monitor falls asleep. I manually turn the monitor off and then on again but it says there is no DVI signal.

I have to keep turning off & on my PC again and it keeps doing this until it goes into automatic repair mode, then it takes me to a blue screen saying "Windows did not start up correctly" and I click the "Restart" button on the blue screen page.

Then it reboots windows and it works fine.

But I have to do this process almost every day now.

I don't know what's causing this problem and I need help!

Sounds like a corrupt windows install, or faulty video driver. Does the issue occur when booting in Safe mode? When booting hit the F8 key or F12 key to get into Safemode. If the issue does not persist in safe mode, its a good bet its the video driver/card. If it does then I say its a corrupt Windows install.

I've had my Windows 8.1 installed for a year now and the issue didnt happen until now.

If the problem persists, I'll boot in safe mode and see if it fixes it.

If it does, I'll re-install GeForce Experience (which i uninstalled)
