Hello currently I am looking into buying a liquid cooling system for my Gigabyte WindforceX3 GTX 780. I will be getting the NZXT G10 and just need to know if the air cooling rig on the video card can be removed to enable the use of the G10. Also will the liquid cooling system use just as much power or less.

Solution
The cooling will use more power because the system now has to power a fan and a pump. On the side on if it will work, yes, yes it will.

The NZXT G10 uses a standard CPU cooler to cool the graphics card. No block required!

What will the Kraken X61 siphon off of for power? Will it come with a cable to go directly into one of the ports on my PSU or will it just use a sata power cable?

Personally I do like the style of all NZXT products and I just assumed that its better to go with an NZXT cooling system with an NZXT GPU cooling block. The LED logo is also a nice touch. Plus I usually hit very high temps so a better cooling system is pretty much a necessity.

Alright thank you. I still feel like I will go with NZXT since I am a loyal customer to them. Does the cooling block come with pre installed thermal paste or will I need to get a tube of paste for it.
