I am trying to copy my Football Manager steam folder to my brothers external seagate disk (USB 3) from my Seagate Barracuda HDD (7200 RPM) and it's basically the game + 200,000 png images of logos, faces, and kits so around 10gb overall. Now i know that copying a lot of small files tends to slow the process but the fact that it's copying only at 100 kb\s is really bothering me, there must be something wrong it should be slow but definitely not that slow.
I have caching enabled on that HDD and i have USB 3 boost installed with the ASUS suite, what else could be wrong? i have been copying for over 3-4 hours now and it still shows 5 hours left and i would really love to go to sleep lol.
