Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 vs Windows 7?

So I have a I5-4670K and a 780 TI OC to 150 and 300 boosted.

I have read that Windows 8 helps some games due to the hyper threading and such. I assume windows 10 will follow suite.

So does that mean if you dont have a processor that has hyperthreading then you will not gain any benefit from windows 8.1 or windows 10?

I think you mean Direct X 12 and its not hyperthreading but more optimization for multicore cpus.
And for games, you still won't benefit much from hyperthreading yet.
Your i5 4670k should be fine.
