Will a Geforce GT 740 video card work with a motherboard that has an Intel G43 chipset?

Despite the title giving a pretty good description of what I need to know, I'm planning on building a PC for gaming, and the motherboard I've chosen has an Intel G43 chipset (and 4 240-pin DIMM memory slots with a max of 8gb of memory, just in case that's helpful) but the graphics card I've found uses a GT 740 chipset. Will that be a problem in terms of compatibility (also, I'll be using 4gb of RAM and the video card has 4gb of memory as well). Thanks!

It'll be fine, but GT 740 is very weak GPU for gaming and I don't think the 4 GB VRAM helps for you. Because VRAMs are for resolutions and in higher resolution, the GT 740 can't handle games.
