I'm in need of a good hard drive that will be used for storage, backing up and well storage mainly. Perhaps some running programs from it but that's not really expected to happen.
The deal is I currently have an SSD 256gb which is nearly full and a 500GB Seagate hard drive which has 100gb remaining though I've erased over 500gb from it in the past few months to make more space and I need another as insurance that if one drive dies my data doesn't all go with it, that and for backing up and hoarding stuff so I don't have to delete everything and then some day re-download it if I need it again.
I used to have a Western Digital black 1 TB HD but it died about a year again, now I'm using the Seagate one and so far it's doing pretty good but either way, I feel unsafe having over 400gb of somewhat important data laying around on a single drive that may break tomorrow. Considering I don't trust cloud storage another HD is my only option.
Anyways, what I'm looking for is a 2TB hard drive. Thanks for any responses in advance!
