Hello all. I could use some help with my new build.

I had a few questions
-Would it be worth while to switch the R9 290 with a GTX 970?
-Should I buy during, or after Black Friday? I know Black Friday doesn't have the greatest deals on components, but I only have money saved for during or after.
-Should I be fine with cooling?
-Is there anything I could change with my build to make it cheaper while keeping the about the same performance?
Any other advice it always appreciated!
