Hi
IM going to be build a new computer over Christmas and I have a $3000 budget. I know that sounds like a lot but I live in nz and prices here are pretty expensive. So I want to do an Intel i7 build with either a gtx 980/970 so I have a few requests. If you can answer any of the question please leave your answer down below. Can someone recommend me a build based on the following things 1) I want to water cool so if you could either list the parts I'd need or include them into the build it would be greatly apprieate ( this is for the graphics card and cpu) 2) is getting a 980 worth it over the 970, I'll want to be playing games like bf4 cod series in 1080p 60fps ultra or high. 3) is going for a i7 5th gen cpu with x99 and ddr4 worth it over a 4th gen and ddr3 (remember I will be gaming and recording plus rendering.) so yeah $3000 Nzd is my budget, please keep all parts in New Zealand dollars from nz stores. I also don't need monitors or windows 8. Thanks in advance.

You don't have budget for water cooling the 980. You'd have to put a kit together. Using something like this - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_878_880&products_id=29600 and adding a pump, reservoir, radiator, hoses and fittings. You should allow another $500NZ.

For X99, you need to allow a further $500NZ. DDR4 ram is very expensive for a start.
