I have a 2005 dell xps 600 gaming computer with a Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz cpu, 4 ram slots and currently a nividia GeForce 6800 graphics card. And my motherboard says sli ready on it but i don't know the model number of it. Anyone know if i can upgrade to a core 2 duo cpu without changing motherboards ??? Trying to meet minimum requirements to play W.O.W. without buying a whole new computer ATM. Any info? Plz.

Dammit !!! And with a new motherboard my graphics card and ram won't fit cause they're ddr2. Should i bother getting a new mobo, cpu, ram and graphics card or just buy a whole new computer?

Thanks for the info guys. So from what i've researched i'd cost me bout 300 in used\refurbished parts to bring mine up to par if it's even possible, and a new tower only setup would cost 500 to 800 plus... so it's just a matter of cheaper temporary fix Vs. Much more expensive long term fix...basically.
