Hi guys, been lurking on this forum to find answers to problems and have a problem need to ask for help.
So like the title says, i have a vaporx sapphire 7950 with a finicky hdmi..so one night it will be fine and then tommorow it will go blank. My mobo is 990fx-gd80 and the bios code says 62, using the mobo long enough i know that the GPU lives as i've had a totally dead GPU before and the code it threw for that was d6,
This problem is solvable by booting via dvi first shut down pc and then reboot with hdmi and i got display back.. it happens quite often but the problem doesn't always replicate the next morning. Do you guys know a common solution to this problem ? I want to try RMA but since this is an intermittent problem i am afraid the technician couldnt spot the problem is there something definitive i could show the problem ? it's hard to say it's failing because it's been running really great since new and never even need to repaste, the highest it goes in furmark 1920x1080 with autofan setting is 60C no artifacts, no blanking, etc..
