Hello all.
I work in an IT repair shop, and a customer has bought in their Packard Bell EasyNote ENME69BMP Netbook (10" Touchscreen on Windows 8). For some reason, it always displays website security errors on a secure website, such as Google (when signed in), but the likes of BBC.co.uk works absolutely fine. Internet explorer occasionally gives proxy issues, then gives a security certificate error for any https website. If anybody knows a fix, please let me know.
However, I believe there's a malware infection, but can't get the malware removed, so am wanting to remove the HDD, then mount it in a caddy to scan from another machine.
I have removed the battery and the 2 screws at the bottom of the machine, but can't find any way of removing the base, and the keyboard appears to be screwed in (though I am unsure of this)
Any help greatly appreciated
Thank you
T
