Hello, I am wondering if it's normal for my GPU to run at 87c while using Minecraft Shaders.
I had to switch my NVIDIA GeForce 8400m G because when i got it it was faulty. I tried playing shaders with my ATI GPU i got a week ago and it ran max 87c. The normal temperature was around 80c. Is it normal or no?

as the last answer stated you are placing massive stress on a entry level gpu that was never designed for intensive gaming .. the HD3650 is a last gen gpu that was designed as a next step up from intergrated graphics and to be used with media center/htpc,s
however the good news is todays entry level gpu,s are significantly better than previous generations and can handle more load .... for example a R7 260 can be snapped up for around £65 and this will handle minecraft with ease ... also with a 28nm gpu this means its runs cooler and quieter .....
on the nvidia side the GTX750 is worth considering ... and its amazing 55w tdp(power draw ) means it requires no 6pin connectors and it also runs cooler ,however it...

older cards like your HD3650 run hotter due to their 90nm gpu which is why its so inefficent .... whatever you do it will still run hot,so my advice is buy the GTX750 or the R7 260 ... it will save you day !
