Need help with upgrade

So I want to upgrade my cpu so I will get better performance out of more demanding games like Battlefield 4.
I currently have:
amd phenom II x6 cpu
radeon hd 7850 gpu
8gb ram
asus m5a78l-mlx plus motherboard
corsair 600w psu
What would be a good cpu to upgrade to that would work well with my build?

You can get FX-CPU's but don't expect any overclocks on this motherboard. I'll recommend 8350.

I wasn't looking to spend more than $100-150.. I was looking into the amd fx processors they seem to be decent for the price. I was hoping to keep my current motherboard also. My current cpu only gets around 3.0 ghz

Which model of the amd phenom II x6 do you have in particular?
Also, what is your ram frecuency?

Your mobo supports cpus up to 125w , so the 8350 is still the best solution, at about 150$

Edit: the FX-6350 and FX-6300 are also two cpus to consider if your looking for something cheaper, but dont go to 4-core amd cpus, not worth their price

As far as ram I've got 2 4-gb sport ddr 3
Also with the fx 8350 could I run battlefield 4 on high settings atleast at 60 fps?
