Accidentally went ahead and bought a WD 'green' 2tb hard drive, is it too slow for gaming?

I've stupidly bought a WD green 2tb hard drive from PC world and installed it.

It wasn't until after I had installed it that I noticed the box had a little "Wd green" sticker on it, the box was blue and I had just presumed it was a WD blue hard drive aha.

Is the speed too ridiculously slow to justify playing games from it? I had planned to move my entire steam library too it as I don't have the space for it on my ssd or my 500gb hard drive

It's not going to make any difference other than how fast the game and the levels load.

If you really want to improve that, don't waste your time with a spinner. No platter drive will make that big of a difference for that. My 1TB Platter Greens can still load 115MB/s. Just get an SSD if you are looking for a real improvement there.
