Is SSD good for a constantly updating game?

Hi guys I just bought a ssd and currently I still dont have a hdd so Im planning to put my OS Google chrome and Dota 2 in it. My ssd is samsung 840 evo 120gb. Is it safe to put google chrome and dota 2 there? cause ive read that writing too much on a ssd will wear it out and dota 2 is constantly updating in a month? pls help its my first time having a ssd btw :)

You'll be fine. The concerns about early SSD death from too many writes is massively overblown. You'd have to write hundreds of GB per day, every day, for years to actually kill it.
