I have an Asus GTX 780 DC2 OC edition, and I would like to know what is a safe voltage to overclock to, here is my rig.

i5 4440 3.1ghz
Asus GTX 780 DC2 OC edition
8GB ram
120gb ssd
1tb HDD
1tb external HD
650 Watt PSU

I use the Asus GPU tweak program, and I have been overclocking my card specifically for the new assassins creed. I run my GPU currently at 1200 volts, (around a +100 offset) and my GPU temperatures never reach over 70 degrees ever, but hover around 40-52 on any game other that assassins creed unity.

So with this all in mind, my main question is, is 1200 volts safe for my GPU?

Solution
Yes, 1.2v is safe for your gpu. It may degrade it faster but as long as temps are fine there is no damage that can be done to your gpu.

I would say 1.25v would be the most you would want to push through this card on air safely. Some people (extreme people) have bios hacked and even pushed up to 1.4v although NO ONE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS.

So you're perfectly fine as long as VRM temps and core temps are fine.

-good luck
