Our Lenovo G 570 laptop is giving warnings that the hard drive is failing. It has a WD 7500 BPVT-24HXZT1 hard drive. I thought of just replacing it with the same drive. This computer is mainly used for email and Facebook etc. No gaming other than the games on Facebook. Any recommendations on other hard drives for this.

Any 2.5 inch laptop hard drive will work. Judging by your usage description, you don't need to spend extra money on an SSD.

For the usage model you described, this drive should fit nicely:

If you want more room and or performance, try this one:

Thanks for the reply. The current hard drive is 5400 rpm and I was thinking about going with a 7200 rpm. Just because I can I guess. I also am thinking of staying with a WD drive only because I have used these in the past and they seem to be OK.
What about this one?

That will work nicely.

Just so you know, HGST was bought out and is now owned by Western Digital.
