I recently built a gaming PC with these parts
-EVGA 500 Watt Bronze power supply
-R9 280X Graphics card
-Intel I5 4440 core processor
-H81M-D Plus Motherboard
-Enermax PC case with three 120mm cooling fans
Will this be enough to support the R9 280X Graphics card for a long time? I will never overclock or play any games (especially new ones) on ultra settings. The max graphics I would play on would be medium to high. My case also has a decent amount of airflow. My primary concern is the power supply not being able to handle the graphics card and it burning out, possibly damaging it in some way. I also plan on gaming for no more than 5-7 hours a day, with breaks putting the PC in sleeping mode and shutting the PC down for 8-9 hours a night.
