I bought this mobo from Amazon as it seemed to be able to use several AM3 AMD CPUs but now I'm not so sure. Has anyone had any luck with this board. I can use all the help I can get. RedTyger

Solution
find the webpage for this board on the makers website

find the cpu support list and you will know what chips can run in it

By the name it has an nVidia chipset . They dont perform as well as the AMD chipsets and they lack some features . Mostly they were cheap , but a few added SLI capability for AMD processors back when AMD/Intl and nVidia were scrapping about what could run what and where

Geez Ancient I've been poking a stick at this for the last few days and it see all I get is some conflicting info as to what will run and what won't. I normally wouldn't ask but I've been out of the computer loops for a couple of years. In the 80's and 90's I won a couple of PC mag Editor's Choice awards for PCs. I hate feeling of miss-informed anymore.
The scrapping hasn't changed has it. lol
My concern is I see this board looking like it was built with both the AM2 and 3 and that has me worried. The sellers home page doesn't give much info on who built this mobo.
