Solution
just telling you what i saw from benchmarks at professional sites, not a random youtube video.

if you look at the difference between mantle and no mantle, the difference is minimal.

these arent even the benchmarks im remembering. i do remember though, that mantle had the greatest benefits on poor cpus paired with high end gpus and that the gains were fairly minimal elsewhere.

no surprise.

you have to understand where mantle benefits and where it doesnt. mantle is essentially beneficial to systems with weaker cpus. the load on the cpu is by far less with mantle which removes the cpu bottleneck on weaker cpu systems. if you have a system with a strong cpu, you will see little to no benefit from mantle.

your cpu is quite strong.

nothing is wrong! mantle give a great boost in scenarios where the cpu is the limiting factor.! the weaker the cpu the hier the benefit! your cpu is high end so dont expect much. however in the future, you never know....

yeah, dx12 games will be released in 2016 or later... mantle has a ton of time... if they get developers to integrate it in a lot of games then mantle will defenitely stay

its that IF developers use it thats the worry

nice thing is directx12 will work with existing nvidia directx11 cards

and amd 7xxx and upwards

for once most people wont need a hardware upgrade for new directx

mantle only works on mantle supported games..

it lowers the load on the cpu and gives it to the gpu which gives you good framerates but also gives developers a chance to make highly complex games by the ability to make higher draw calls that usual cpu load

also when you have a mantle enabled game and you have like a 6 core or 8 core cpu then it will spread the load equaly making use of all cores instead of pressuring limited cores while rest of them idle

a ton of developers are supporting mantle at this moment because directx12 will be very late untill released (late 2015 early 2016)

this rig can benefit from mantle 7970 ghz and i7 4770 how while low cpus only benefit from it ?

i saw many rigs like me benefit from mantle !

i have only played the sigle player of BF4 and i have also also tried Mantle with not the results shown on youtube video. i just dont trust videos on youtube. that was multiplayer maybe on an empty serve,r with custom settings. also cpu stated as 4770k at stock. can you be sure that on second part of the video, both cpu and gpu arent extensively overclocked? no you cant! videos can be easily edited!

lolol omg! the game has to support mantle too!! bf4,thief,pvz garden warfare, sid miers civilization.. get it?

you cant try to pick a game like watchdogs or assassins creed unity and try to run mantle on it... it doesent even support mantle
