Help needed! Which GTX 970 is the best option?

Hey everyone,

I am going to purchase a GTX 970, but I am unsure which model to buy. I would greatly appreciate feedback on the four models below (ideas on a different 970 is welcomed as well). Thank you in advance.

I would go for the G1. The Gold edition would be a great card too, but it's overpriced.

The STRIX is a good choice, but not the best if you plan on overclocking.

I'd stay away from EVGA's 970's, they have some issues.
