Ey guys, I have this mobo which was a beast back then along with a first generation i7 920 @2.66ghz.
I want to get a new cpu now, since it kinda bottlenecks my newer gfx card.
Is there a cpu that fits my mobo around 200-250$, with decent performance for today's standards?
If not, which mobo/cpu combo do you propose(same budget) for a fresh gaming rig?
My gpu is a hd7950 3gb.
And another newbie question, are there compatibility issues between mobo/ram, meaning, do I also have to buy new ram with a different type of mobo or my current blocks will do?
