I have a old LG LRM-519 DVR. For those of you who have no idea what they are, it's a DVR that had Microsoft Media Guide and several other fun features built in. It was great when it worked but the power supply failed 3 times, I kept replacing the capacitor that was bad, but I gave up on it a couple of years ago. I recently decided to scrap the inside and build a HTPC inside of it. My question is, is there a way to reuse the Front panel which included a Power button, LCD Display, and IR receiver. They all came off clean so the boards are in tact, wires, plugs, and all. Thanks in advance for your help.

It is possible that there could be drivers for them out there....it may be hard to find them....As I remember it came out in 2005/2006?
The front panel - the power button may be reusable - without drivers for the LCD display and IR receiver, it may be very difficult to get them to function....
