You'll probably be fine with the RAM, but know that you are paying a lesser cost for a reason.
Somewhere, at some point during the manufacturing process, a corner was cut. You have to accept that and make your choice as a consumer.
This might mean they are using Chinese slaves in towers where there are nets outside to catch people who are attempting to kill themselves, or perhaps the PCB they are using is not as high a quality one as say the one produced by crucial, and as a result will likely fail 10% sooner than crucial.
They sell really nice 1600MHz certified sticks on Amazon for ten dollars more.

I also refuse to do business with Newegg. Very rarely are they cheaper, and when they are its not by much. That said, I would be willing to pay a, as ridiculous as it sounds, 10% premium just for their A-Z return policy. They refund your money before you even put it into the box. Its shipped through USPS, not UPS. That means deliveries on saturdays... They occasionally overnight it to you even when you got supersaver shipping (5-8 business days) that's happened to me on more than a few occasions. Additionally, their A-Z return policy once again. And, if for whatever reason you do find a newegg product that is cheaper. Amazon will price match it. Enough said. I digress.
Just a couple of other tid bits. Bought a PCI sata 3 card from them in july. Their return policy states that you must return a product within 30 days to get a refund. Amazon was so cool with me that they gave me a refund because the product was not delivering the rated speeds to me, and in the month of November. Four months later... Fully refunded.
Also, if you call them, you can often get them to give you a discount. When you call, mention the price of the competitor's and they will also price match.
