My Budget is $700
My goal is to have it play most games on high to max settings at 1080p with FPS around 60+

This is the list of things that I have in mind for the build.
1.Windows 7
2.AMD FX-8320
3.Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
4.Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB
5.Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 1600 2x4GB

I was going to use my old Diablotek PSU that is 575w and I was wondering if that will be good enough for this build. And I would also like to know what is the best GPU for this build that is under $200.

These are some of the games that I play/would like to play
Vindictus
Battlefield 3 & 4
DayZ Standalone
Black Desert
DarkSouls 2
Witcher 2 & 3
Tera
Assassin's Creed Black Flags
COD Black Ops
COD WaW
FFXIV

If you have any comments about this setup feel free to post it below. Also let me know if this is even a good setup.

PS: Will buy the parts from Newegg, Amazon, TigerDirect

Thanks in advance.:bounce:

The only 2 brands that are " cheapo " are Patriot and Club 3D. They don't have the best quality, but RAM is RAM. Even the kingston value series is good enough. When you pay for $80 RAM, you're usually paying for better heatsinks and overclocking abilities, which I doubt you'll need, so the RAM I mentioned should work well.

And as for the GPU. It's quite similar to RAM. you pay more for better heatsinks and overclocking abilities. Afterall , AMD still manufactures the GPU chip. Different manufactures simply design cooling systems. If they design something bad, they'll have to deal with tons of complains from their customers, so I don't think Club 3D is that bad.

Actually, Asrock and XFX are high end brands...

I'm from the US, Nebraska... I click the "Best solution" Button by accident, is there a way to undo that? I'm new to this site.

I wanted to pick an i5 , but then I wouldn't be able to fit a R9 280 into the budget, so I went with the Fx-8320. It should be fine in most games.

If you can stretch your budget, you might want to get a better case.

Do you think that the build I had in mind is not as good compared to the build you put together? I just want to make sure that I get the best setup I can with my budget. Also is my PSU any good or you think I need to upgrade it?

The parts you listed are fine, but the parts I mentioned have a better price / performance ratio. diablotek isn't known for making high quality power supplies, so I don't recommend using their PSUs. In the worst case scenario, there could be a power failure, and some of your components may be affected.

Oh ok, well I saw some of the parts that you listed and I'm not familiar with the manufacturers of the power supply, motherboard, video card, and the memory. So I'm just a bit concerned about them because I never heard of them and don't really know how they perform in the long run. I would like all my parts to be reliable.

Ok, Thanks so much for your help! I just wanted to make sure. One other question I have is, do you have any other recommendation or alternatives for the Video Card that is under $200?
