Hello there

I want to build a pc with a processor that will still be relevant in 2-3 years. I want to play 2014 games at 1080p,medium to high. I would also want my computer to do tasks such as compressing and unzipping really fast.

I chose my cpu after taking this into consideration. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2690788/windows-10-will-woo-gamers-with-supercharged-directx-12-graphics-api.html .

i would really like to lower the total cost of my build to 650+ whilst not killing too much performance. I normally play DotA 2 and occasionally some AAA titles. Not a necessity to max out. Just as long as it is about 30-60 fps and at med to high settings. I want a good all-rounder pc.
I hope you all can help me :D

I will appreciate your help!

PC Part Picker List

Changed processor to fx 6300. 6 cores are enough for most general use and gaming. Can OC if needed. Changed gpu to a superclocked 750Ti. More than enough fore 1080p gaming. Can run most games like dota 2 etc at high settings with 60 fps. Some high end games you might need to turn down a few settings to medium. The card is very power efficient and highly overclockable for even more performance, which lets us go with a more efficient PSU selection as well. Added SSD as well.

Price is $670 with the SSD. You can cut this down to 600$ without the SSD and only HDD if you like although I highly recommend an SSD for the boot drive.

I like mo's build but i would cut the ssd for now and get the 8320. Ssd's are getting so cheap whentheir on sale its not hard to pick one up later, and getting a good processor in the beginning is important imo.
