what are the really benefits of doing SLI?
i did it because of frame rates increase,why is it better that single card?(Just pros no cons)
GTx 760sc SLi 90fps on BF4,Shadows of mordor 77fps
850w 80+silver atx
fx8320 3.5mhz

Pros
It is a cheaper upgrade path.
For the same/less money it can be more powerful than the top end card.
You have more available video outputs for multi-monitor setups.

Cons (got to have them or it's completely biased)
Not all games support dual cards, in these cases you're no better than having a single card.
Higher resolution need more memory, adding cards does not do this as the memory from multiple card cannot be added together.
Draws more power, bigger electric bill.
Micro stutter (pauses in the game) is much worse, even when combining high end cards - this is the biggest con of all.
