Hey, With the help of a friend, i got this great built set up but Can anybody cut prices on any of these parts except the CPU? I want an i7 but this is just a little expensive. I want to play games like LOL and Planetside2, and a few others. I want to use XBMC with NO issues and run the Internet with NO issues (NetFlix, YouTube, etc) and i want this computer to be very quite. I am going to plug this into my Samsung Flat Screen, for example i think the GPU can possibly be cut down. Maybe the Storage? Please help i really want to get this built.

Thanks A lot i reaally appreciate your help!'

Currently the best reasons to get an i7 have to do with content creation. Things like compiling large software projects, rendering in maya/max, and encoding videos. Those tasks are highly threaded and take advantage of the i7's hyperthreading support.

The majority of games don't take advantage of having more than 4 cores and as such hyperthreading won't help them. Internet browsing and media playback are also things that don't take advantage of multiple cores and even then are tasks that can be handled at a decent speed by a midrange APU from AMD.

Unfortunately to get your system quiet and keep the performance up going down to the i5-4690K with an aftermarket cooler (Coolermaster hyper-212 evo) would be the best bet to reduce costs. Given what you plan on doing the i7's extra threads will not help you in any way.
