USB Headset, Microphone Problem

Check in Control Panel, Device Manager to see whether your audio devices are working properly and have up to date drivers.

Don't go through the Astro Amp - just the PC.

I would like to use the headset I have and figure out why Vista won't pick up audio through USB, because I know it works.

The mic is not faulty. I said in my first post the microphone works perfectly on a Windows 7 laptop.

If you're suggesting trying a different USB headset + mic, I would prefer to stick with the headset I have. Not interested in buying another one.

Anyone have any ideas on why my USB headset + mic is not picking up voice? Thanks
