Your current build is no good for gaming the GPU is the most important part in a gaming PC and with r7 260x in some modern and upcomming you can barely go over low graphic settings to achieve good FPS so i have made few adjustments in your build to make it a much better gaming PC.

Yes the parts are compatible but :
-You cant overclock that cpu so you wont need a z97 mobo(get a h97) nor a cpu cooler(save 60$ from there)
-Get a smaller yet more reliable PSU like the xfx core 550w, seasonic s12II 520w or antec HCG 520w. Get the cheapest of these three.
-With the money saved get at least a 270x GPU although i would aim for a 280.
