My acer aspire notebook has been infected with several trojans.
They have disabled my Norton anti virus and corrupted the registery.
Will I still be able to use the factory default partition to recover the computer or will it also be corrupted ?
Yes, return to factory defaults. A partition is like another hdd, it will be rare for a virus to get that far but not impossible. Restore it and do another full virus scan.
